Values

We are highly committed to the vision and mission above and prioritize this above other activities, hobbies, serving opportunities. We want to spend our lives to see others reached with the gospel. Hard work and asking ourselves what needs to be done to reach our vision and mission is expected, not what can I do. We do not measure ourselves or determine our work methods, strategies or effectiveness based on what we see others doing.

We ruthlessly evaluate whether we are being effective or not and are willing to make changes in order to accomplish our God given vision, mission, and goals. Effectiveness/fruitfulness follows faithfulness. Faithfulness is not an end in itself.

We are willing to take risks and live in such a way that others might think unwise. Personal safety, comfort and fortune are not the deciding factors. The faith modeled by Jonathan and Paul are examples we strive to follow.

Personal or immediate fulfillment from ministry or organizational identity is not emphasized. We are here for the Lord, the work, the lost, the body and the team. John the Baptist in fulfilling his ministry and being martyred surely was not seeking personal fulfillment!

We value serving others in achieving similar visions. We want other Strategy Teams to succeed!

We will handle our lives and life’s problems under the authority of scripture. We value healthy relationships and will do everything possible and scriptural toward that. God wants to restore all relationships thru repentance and humility. Nothing is too difficult for Him. If we have a problem we will surface it and resolve it by God’s grace.

We recognize it is God who places those in authority over us and we must submit to their leadership and be intentionally and proactively accountable to them. I am a not a volunteer to any organization able to do what seems right in my own eye, but a servant of God under authority, God’s and man’s.

We value professional excellence including appropriate language and culture learning, innovative, strategic and critical thinking, self-initiative, along with disciplined follow through.
