Freedom House: Drug Rehab Centers

A CHURCH PLANTING BRIDGE

Drug addiction is rampant among the unreached people groups we serve. Freedom House is a place to come for a month and meet Jesus who has the power to deliver them from drugs. And it doesn’t end there. As people begin their walk with God they are equipped and sent by the power of the Holy Spirit to bring the gospel to their people and be the start of a healthy reproducing church in their villages and beyond.

God is working powerfully in and through the Lahu Guloh in Myanmar via this drug rehabilitation project. Churches have been started through those who came to Freedom House and met the Son who sets them free. More rounds of people continue to come, turn to Christ, and return to their villages bringing the Good News that bears fruit. The same has begun among the Palaung of Myanmar. Finally, the Lao-side Freedom House‘s facility is currently under construction and set to be finished by the end of the year. The Lao-side Freedom House is targeting the Tai Lue people and believe it will be a needed break-through for finding people who are open to the gospel among them.

Praise God for the national workers at each of the three Freedom Houses, who our team equips, encourages, and coaches as they welcome people in who are ready for the change and new life only Christ can bring.

“I was was hurt and rejected, addicted to drugs, but God changed my life. Now I have a future and a hope. I want to help people find change too and thank God for His great plan.”
